Joseph Price is a Trial Lawyer serving Northeast and Central Pennsylvania for the past thirty two (32) years. He has also represented clients in New York, New Jersey and Maryland Federal Courts.  He is Board certified by the National Board of Trial Advocacy.  He was selected one of the “Top 100 Trial Lawyers” in Pennsylvania. He has been named a “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer” for the years 2005 through 2012.  He served as a volunteer trial lawyer representing victims of 9/11 in New York City. Attorney Joe Price is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, Board of Governors Pennsylvania Association of Justice and American Trial Lawyers.  Attorney Price has successfully tried many diverse cases including cases against General Motors, Dollar General, Pennsylvania Department of State, medical malpractice defendants  and numerous insurance carriers. He is currently representing clients injured in the Marcellus Shale gas drilling  regions of Pennsylvania in drilling accidents, car accidents, blasting accidents, quarry accidents and gas/big truck accidents.  He is a frequent lecturer for the Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers (PAJ) and the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBI).  Attorney Price served as the President of the Lackawanna Bar Association in 2009 and presently sits on the LBA Board of Directors.  He is also a former assistant District Attorney, solicitor for various governmental entities and past President of the LBA Young Lawyer Division.

Active in the community, Attorney Price is the President of the Board of Directors of Saint Joseph’s Center, Dunmore Pa., and a board member of the Performing Arts Authority, Scranton Canoe Club at Lake Winola, Pennsylvania  and  Lackawanna Pro Bono Association. He is a former member of the Scranton School Board, founding member of the non-profit  Minooka Athletic Association and Lackawanna Water Quality Task Force, former cross country coach at Marion Catholic/Nativity Grade School and former girls and boys basketball and baseball coach and official.

Attorney Price  is married to Attorney Judy Price and is the proud father of four children; Judith Ann, Attorney Colleen Kearney, Joseph Jr. and Jim. . He is the son, and one of seven children, of  Shirley Martin Price and the late Joseph F. Price Sr. of North Scranton, Pennsylvania.  He is a graduate of Holy Rosary Grade School.
