Pennsylvania Gas Drilling Accident Lawyers–bradford, Tioga, Susquehanna & Lycoming Counties–dlp–regulatory And Water Issues Explored

Posted by Joe Price & filed under DLP Law, Gas Drilling Injuries.

An interesting report on PBS yesterday explored national issues involving the natural gas drilling business in the U.S.   Who has the responsibility to regulate?  State government or Federal government?   An interesting discussion was held arguing both sides.  Currently most fracking regulations are on a state by state basis.  Pennsylvania has little regulation at this time.

Water use issues were also examined.  The fracking method of drilling utilized a lot of water.  Opponents pointed out the current drought conditions and lack of water as reasons for limiting drilling.  Gas drilling proponents note that regulators currently keep a close watch on water usage and that the amount of water being utilized is minimal compared to other industrial uses.

The 13 lawyers at DLP handle serious accident TRIAL throughout NEPA and Central Pennsylvania.  DLP has recovered MILLIONS of dollars in settlements and verdicts for its clients.
