The A.P. reports today that Pennsylvania land owners have received over 1.2 billion dollars in natural gas drilling royalties from fracking on their properties since the gas drilling boom started a few years ago. Nationwide royalties have topped 20 billion dollars! Once the price of natural gas goes up, royalties will follow.
