Shell announced yesterday that it has received a six month extension on it agreement to purchase 300 acres of land in Western Pennsylvania for construction of a cracker plant. If built the multi-billion dollar project is expected to bring thousands of jobs and numerous spin-off businesses to Pennsylvania.
