Dlp Represents Gas Drilling Accident Victims—impact Fee Payments Due; Pennsylvania Out Front In Gas Drilling

Posted by Joe Price & filed under DLP Law, Gas Drilling Injuries.

Reports today on the Marcellus Shale Gas Boom in Pennsylvania focus on upcoming impact fee payments and Pennsylvania’s head start on New York in the natural gas production industry.

The Pittsburgh Post reports on the impact fee payments.  Towns across Pennsylvania in counties such as BRADFORD,  SUSQUEHANNA,  TIOGA,  WASHINTON and others will see payment of impact fees later this year.  The amount of any payment is based on the number of gas drilling wells in each town.  Towns can use the funds for road improvement, environmental and other designated purposes.

The Associated Press reports that Pennsylvania has a head start on other states, especially New York, in natural gas production and should remain a center of natural gas production for years to come.  As the price of natural gas rises, production will increase and Pennsylvania is well positioned to take advantage.

Dougherty Leventhal Price LLP represents accident victims and there families for the past  35  years.  DLP’s experienced 13  trial lawyers have expanded their representation of seriously injured victims into the GAS FIELDS of NEPA and Central Pennsylvania.
