Zero Dark Thirty is a film documenting the killing of Osama Bin Laden by American troops.  The film was nominated for a Best Picture Oscar.   The film opens to a darkened  theater.  On a blank screen movie goers here recordings from air traffic controllers, safety personnel and others responding to the events on that horrific day.  The last voice heard before the movie starts is that of 9/11 victim Melissa Doia.  Melissa was a beautiful young woman who lost her life when the Towers were struck  Her  22 minute  call to 911 became famous for the terrible and tragic events which occurred on 9/11.   DLP partner Joseph Price, through his volunteer efforts with the American Trial Lawyers’ pro bono efforts–Trial Lawyers Care—represented Melissa Doia and her mom so she could recover damages from the 9/11 Fund.   It was an honor representing Melissa and her family.   May her courage and beauty never be forgotten!!
