The A.P. reports today that Halliburton Inc. has developed a natural, chemical free liquid for use in the fracking process. Haliburton calls the product CleamStim. It is made of natural materials and lacks the current chemical base used in today’s gas fields. The primary concern to using the new environmentally friendly process may be cost—it is much more expensive than the chemical mixtures currently used. Watch for developments with this new product as fracking and natural gas drilling activities continue to increase throughout the country and worldwide.
The Natural Gas Drilling Rig Trial Team at DLP is representing workers and victims of gas drilling, pipeline construction and gas truck accidents. DLP is handling cases in Bradford, Tioga, Susquehanna and other rural counties. DLP has collected millions of dollars in settlements for many clients over the past 35 years.
