Big Gas Driller In Wayne County Cancels Leases!!–dlp Wayne County Office Represents Accident Victims

Posted by Joe Price & filed under DLP Law, Gas Drilling Injuries.

The Scranton Times reports today that over 1200 natural gas leases in Wayne County will not be renewed.  Although the company is citing a desire to concentrate on oil reserves elsewhere, Wayne County residents believe that the gas drilling/fracking moratorium issued by the Delaware River Basin authority which affects the entire Wayne County region is to blame for the gas drillers pulling out.  The loses from the decision are potentially staggering; reaching into the hundreds of millions of dollars.  Residents are contemplating a lawsuit as a result of the DRBA actions.

DLP has recovered millions of dollars for clients injured or killed in Wayne County including a $14.5 million auto accident settlement.  DLP partner Cal Leventhal resides in Honesdale and staffs the DLP office on Route 191.  Remember—INJURY???  CALL DLP!!!!
