“Independent” is a word that is used rather loosely when it comes to defense examinations that are conducted upon our clients.  After a serious accident and injury, many of our claims must go into litigation when the claims adjusters do not value the injuries at the same level as ourselves.  Usually after a deposition, the defense counsel will send our clients for an independent Medical Evaluation or IME.  The problem is that these exams are far from “independent”.  The defense counsel use the same doctors and pay thousands of dollars for these doctors to say that our clients are usually fine.  If you are seriously injured, Call DLP.  We will be on your side during these “independent” medical examinations.  Brian G.
