Many people come into our offices after a motor vehicle accident and have no idea what their declaration page says or what they are receiving from the insurance company in return for their hard earned premiums.  Stacking is often a big question.  Stacking allows you to multiply the amount of your uninsured or underinsured coverage by the number of vehicles that you cover on a given policy.  Hence, if you have three cars and all of them have $15K in UIM coverage, with stacking , you will be covered with $45K in coverage.  Tell your agent that you always want Full Tort coverage and always want stacking.
