How To Brake On Black Ice

Posted by Brian Price & filed under Auto Accidents, Serious Injury.

Oh the weather outside is frightful but make sure that your ride is delightful and does not end in an accident.  Black ice is one of the most dangerous conditions that you can encounter while driving your car.  If you come upon black ice and begin to feel your car slipping, do not slam on your brakes.  All of your instincts will want you to do this but that can lead to a serious motor vehicle accident.  Instead, gently tap your brakes until you regain traction.  Fight your instincts and do the right thing.  Then you will not be in or cause an accident and have to call us.  Injury?
